march-2010 my handyman - mark was there-working in my basement in mpls, mark and me, talking about the wall of sound,looking at you tube and laughing,mark says "i took some pictures back in 73, in santa barbara, when i was living out there, missing vietnam, working for the gov. forest service. mark pulled some pictures, they were great, me , im 44 , and my first show was 82 , st paul mn. funny how things happen, love the dead

Subject: ok now I remember
It was 1973 and this concert was one of the most cosmic and memorable times in my life! My friend Bob Richie spaced out and did not pick me up, so I rode my bicycle from my studio in costa mesa all the way to santa barbara. As I approached it started to rain and I thought the concert would be called off .... but the greatful dead and all of us deadheads sang the rain away...as they were singing the clouds parted and a beam of light shown directly onto the stage and the wall of sound .... contanct me if you were there!

THIS is the show to download for 1973!
This is a really great sounding audience recording of one of the top 10 shows of 1973. this Truckin>Other One>Eyes is one of the best I've ever heard... take my word for it and download this recording!!! Check it out... the soundboard sounds good (esp. Bill sounds better there) but the mix between vocals, Phil and Jerry sounds better HERE in the AUDIENCE....

Subject: Interesting Jam.
Truckin>Other One>Eyes similar to 5/13 and 5/26. All are good shows, 13 and 20 maybe equal and Kezar on the 26 maybe a little better. But get the SBD.

I have never heard Jerry sing so sweet, this is a must listen, the eyes the sunshine, the daydream.
